Found out its Jupiter. Really wish i had this camera hooked up to a telescope!

Could be Venus. I'll have to check with a coworker tomorrow. I also need a telescope and a tripod. :)

got me a new (to me) camera today. It's a Canon 8MP Powershot S5 IS. Should take nicer pics than I've been taking with my Droid.

killed it punk style in Nashville tonight - Sorry no pics this time!

Nothing next weekend that I'm aware of. We were supposed to see Here Come the Mummies, but they are sold out - We'll prolly just chillax at the hizzy :)

Sept 4th is Hellbound Glory - Scumbag country - Should have my new camera by then, so there will be good pics

Delta Saints/Marcy Playground

Lisa and I went to see The Delta Saints and Marcy Playground this evening at 3rd and Lindsley. The Delta Saints went on at 8 and we got there at 8:30 so we basically missed their whole set.

Marcy Playground put on a good show. Never really been my style but I do like Deadly Handsome Man.

Delta Saints CD release party with Crowfield is Sept 10th. We promised their bass player we'd be there on time for that. We'll see :).

Got new wheels...

These are GMA W-7 wheels with a GMA pulley brake. Sadly the wheels are for 2000-up HD and the pulley brake is for 99-down. Took the rear wheel and brake to R&B Cycles here in Nashville to see if they can mill out the hole about 1/8th of an inch. I hope so because I really like these wheels.
