Frame is back...
Clay had asked me a while back to pick up a donor Triumph for him since I was coming up to Richmond to get my frame.
I left Nashville at approx. 5:30 pm local time. I had no really set schedule but 5:30 was a lot later than I wanted to leave.
I got to Richmond at a little after 5am their time. I texted Clay and he said he was at the shop. He let me in and we BSed for a while before calling it a night (morning?).
He offered me his couch and I caught a couple Z's. We went back to the shop and hung out with a friend of his for a while. Then we unloaded the donor bike and I put my frame in the truck to start the drive home.
Pieces I sent to Clay at Atom Bomb Custom Motorcycles.
And here is what brought back
And a little mockup on the bed of my truck
I am very happy with Clays work and cannot wait to get my bike back together.

New tools...
Well I needed to order some new tools specific to working on older Triumph motorcycles. I ordered these 3 from my friends at Lowbrow Custom.
1) Clutch Hub Puller Tool
2) Clutch Plate Locking Tool
Crankshaft Pinion 3 Jaw Puller Tool
Unfortunately they were out of the 4th tool I needed.
Cam Gear Puller Factory Tool
I found this one on eBay.
The reason I need these tools is because after talking to a few people I have come to the conclusion that I need to update my intake cam to a 750 camshaft. So I need to split the cases to do so. This will be a good experience since I have a 78 Triumph that also needs to be rebuilt from the sludge trap up.

New clock...
Yeah it's not much, but it is a clock for my '55 Ford sedan I've been slowly collecting parts for. Right now it's in my friends backyard. Now that I almost have a kick ass garage workshop I can bring it to my house

Some more new garage stuff (continued)
So I posted a pic the other day of 14 bags of concrete and a mixer we rented. Well, this is what it was for.
Open area in back of the garage
Making sure the form is squared.
Form built.
Tamping the ground to be sure it's level.
Rebar for strength.
Drilling into the garage foundation to connect with the outside concrete.
Rebar installed into the garage foundation.
Concrete poured. This was after the first mixer broke. When Lisa got home they went back to Home Depot to get another mixer.
Smoothing the concrete.
Concrete almost completely smoothed out
Done! It's a pad to put my new air compressor on so it is outside and
a) not taking up room in the garage and
b) so it doesn't make noise in the garage.
Ben and I will be building a "house" for the compressor soon.
